10 reasons to go to Sailor V
We’ve had some lovely reviews so far this summer for Sailor V, our speakeasy style coffee shop in Salcombe. There have been kind words about everything from the hot dogs to the smiley members of the team. Here’s a few things that have been mentioned… what do you love about Sailor V?
1) It’s open for dinner now that it’s summer.
2) The smoothies are life changing – no really, they are. As one customer said: “delicious drinks including fresh apple juice.”
3) We have the ‘best quiche’, says one of our customers on Tripadvisor, commenting: “My husband had quiche 'probably the best I have eaten' Praise indeed as its one of his staples.”
4) We know how to do a good breakfast. A fresh full English is ready and waiting for you this summer.
5) Everyone’s welcome, even the dog, and our kids’ menu is seriously popular… nothing beats a fish finger sandwich by the sea.
6) We serve great coffee… and it’s local. Coffee is kind of our thing, and it’s supplied by Buckfastleigh coffee experts, Voyager.
7) Hot chocolate is on another level… with options for cream, marshmallows and a yoghurt topped flapjack on the side for good measure.
8) We’re here to greet you as soon as you step off the ferry from East Portlemouth. Whether you’ve had a day on the beach or a walk up to Gara Rock, nip to the top of the steps and we’re there on your left.
9) The gourmet hot dogs… if you haven’t tried them you’ve been missing out!
